It took Apple a little bit to review my update to wwrite 1.3.0. Despite the lag it has been approved and is now available for download or update in the App Store.
As mentioned in the previous post there are only two new features
- Timestamps on each file in the File List
- The ability to create an zip archive of your files
These two features are not major features, but they should help those who want to archive and keep track of last editing dates and times.
If you have a feature request, problem, comment, or wish to review the application just head over to our support page and fill out the form.
Sorry for the delay in any updates of wwrite, sometimes my brain doesn’t feel like programming. Today is an exception and I have been able to crank out an update to wwrite.
I have submitted version 1.3 or wwrite to Apple for review.
There are two new features.
- Timestamps on each file in the File List
- The ability to create an zip archive of your files
Once approved I’ll let everybody know. I hope it does not take too long for Apple to approve.
Apple has approved the update to wwrite that I submitted a couple days back.
There is one new feature and one bug fix.
The new feature is that the last document that was open is automatically re-opened at the next launch of the app.
The bug fixed was with importing documents through iTunes. The documents are now inline with the other documents instead of being at the bottom all of the time. Unfortunately this will only affect newly created documents and not existing ones. To overcome this, you can export all of your documents, re-import the ones you imported before and then relaunch the application then delete the subsequent files.
This is a free-upgrade for all current owners of wwrite. If you would like to purchase a copy, head over to the App Store for $1.99
If you find any bugs or have other suggestions please head to our support page and fill out the form there.
wwrite 1.1.0 is now available in the iTunes App Store. Here are the changes that have been made:
Bug Fixes
- A Bug has been fixed where an iPad would be turned and would render the entire application useless until the user quit and restarted.
New Features
- iTunes File sharing has been enabled. You can drop any file into the ‘File sharing’ section for wwrite and the contents will become the contents of a file. You can also save all of your files and templates in one swoop through this feature.
- Values for the template colors has been added.
For those who have purchased any version of wwrite, this is a free update.
Please let us know if there are any features you would like added or any bugs that you may find by using this form to contact support.
I’d like to announce our first iPhone OS application, wwrite.

Wwrite is an application that allows you to take notes, create lists, compose emails and any other text-based functions you can imagine. There is a built-in word and character counter, in case you need to hit a certain word or character mark. You can read the full details on the wwrite product page. It is available in the iTunes App Store for $1.99.
